Your experiences on our tourist sercives
I apologize for not writing a thank-you note sooner. My mother became extremely ill the week we returned home, and Carol and I have spent and are still spending most of our time with her.
The girls and I had an absolutely fantastic time on our excursion. (Ristorante S. Giovanni is one of our very favorites. ) We relive that day often with stories filled with laughter. We would never have been able to have that lovely day without you. Thank you, also, for driving us to Rome in the pouring rain storm.
Kindest regards to you and your family; hold fast to the grand baby -- they do grow up so fast.
Raffaele was great. So friendly and just a great man. It was nice on the drive how we would point out things and share some history. I really liked that. He is also a great driver!! He was on time and very flexible.
The stop in Pompeii was great and he called the guide when we were almost there and she met us right at the van. The Pompeii tour was also amazing. The guide was really in depth and we saw so much. On the way to Sorrento we were discussing possible other ways of leaving Capri to go to Amalfi as we were already taking the ferry there and we found out that the day we were going to head to Amalfi the first boat didn't leave until 4:30. Raffaele recommended a friend he knew with a boat and called him immediately. We told him we would think about it and ended up calling Raffaele from Capri to set it up. He set it up with his friend Mario who runs the Mamma Mia II. It was 750 euro and worth every dollar.
We sent out luggage down in the morning while at breakfast and then took our time getting to the main harbor. Captain Mario was parked in the harbor waiting for us all of our luggage was already loaded and at 10am off we went. The boat was beautiful and there was plenty of space. We boated around the island and he showed us all the grottos up close. He was literally pulling right up to them. We also stopped at Blue Grotto and had one of the little boats take us in. After circling the island we headed towards Positano. On the way we stopped at a little set of small islands where we swam and he opened some prosecco he had brought us. We brought some beer on board, but he had soda, water, and prosecco for us. He also brought us caprese sandwiches which honestly may be the best caprese sandwich I have ever had. Captain Mario stopped in Positano and we dropped the girls off to shop. We anchored up near a beach and the guys swam and chilled while the girls shopped. We picked them up and continued to Amalfi. Mario had called our hotel on the way and there was a van backed onto the dock waiting for us and all of our luggage to take us up the hill. We got to Amalfi around 3pm so in my opinion this was a great price for all that we did and saw. Captain Mario was very easy going and basically would have done anything we wanted to do.
Thank you very very much for taking such good care of our clients, the Greens and for your co-worker driving the Lebens.
They said all went well.
I am very appreciative.

Just a quick e-mail to let you know how happy my wife and I were last week with one of your drivers, Raffaele Aversa. He was professional and a joy to have show us the best of the Amalfi Coast. We had an acquaintance refer him to us because they were pleased with him and I just wanted to let you know that we were very happy with him as well.
Friendly, professional, polite, accomodating are all words that describe him.
Thanks again Raffaele!
It was a pleasure to finally meet you!!!! Dan and I thank you so much for your kind services during our Amalfi coast stay. Looking forward to working with in the very near future.
Warm regards Roberta and Dan Weiss
I have recently returned from a holiday in Italy and I am happy to report that the time spent there began very well when Raffaele was at the Rome Airport waiting to transport us to our destination in Sorrento. Even though there were huge delays at the airport, Raffaele patiently waited for us (myself and 5 family members) and we then enjoyed a pleasant, relaxing ride to the beautiful Sorrento. One of our party is Italian but we could all enjoy conversation with Raffaele who speaks English well. We had also booked Raffaele to take us on an excursion exploring the towns on the Amalfi Coast and then back to Rome – what a wonderful part of Italy certainly made much more enjoyable by our courteous and well informed chauffeur in a clean, comfortable, air conditioned car.
Thank you Raffaele. We would certainly recommend you to anyone requiring your services.
