Highlights Pompei - Positano

This is a compendium of Art, History and Natural Beauties and the suggested itinerary is as below:.
I will meet you at the port of Naples (or Sorrento) at 08:00 AM and the first stop will be in Pompei for a walking tour trough the archeological area. Considering the extension of the area, is suggested a private tour guide to be booked on request in advance (i could do for you) and the cost will be of Euro 120,00 for the 2 hours tour.

Leaving Pompei, we will drive along the panoramic road leading us to Sorrento, the little town famous for the "Limoncello" (Typical Lemon Liqueur), the Neapolitan Song &torna Torna a Surriento" (return to Sorrento) and the Typical Inlaid Wood Works (kind of art works on wood). After the time in Sorrento, we will reach the Breathtaking "Amalfi coast" and Positano will be our destination for a relaxing walk trough the pedestrian area leading you to the beach along the narrow street where many little shops will show the Typical Products (ceramics, clothes and "instant shoes") once you will be ready, i will drive you up to "Montepertuso" to reach a "Typical Mamma Cooking" restaurant with a Breathtaking view of Positano.

The tour will end upto the port in Naples/Sorrento at 05/05:30 PM

 

Amalfi Coast

The tour is designed to enjoy the amazing Amalfi Coast stopping in the picturesque villages of Positano, Amalfi and the "city of the music" Ravello. The tour includes:
Many stops for photos,
Visit of Positano and Amalfi
Lunch in a typical Italian restaurant,
Visit of Ravello,
Optional: stop for visit at the Ceramic factory.

Sorrento Capri and Pompei

This Tour is for Cruisers interested in visiting Pompei and the "Beautiful Island of Capri" and will go on as following: At a walking distance from your ship, you will get an Hydrofoil to Capri (the journey will take 45 minutes) on your own. Once on the island, Please, Get the Hydrofoil schedule to Sorrento (you should get the 12:20 jet to Sorrento) and I will meet you at the pier
From Sorrento we will reach Positano for a quick tour and Lunch at a "Mamma Cooking" restaurant.

After lunch, driving again along the "Amalfi Coast", we will get Pompei for a couple of hours tour trough the ruins of the "Roman" town (private tour guide is suggested to be booked in advance trough me) and then I will drive you back to the ship at 05/05:30 PM.

For Cruisers who want to see all in one day

Pick up at the port at 07:30/08:00 AM, drive along the coast road to Sorrento (quick visit of the town and shopping), from here drive along the narrow road by the hills leading us along the "Magnificient Amalfi Coast".
Driving the Coast road, from my "Large Screen windows Minivan", you are able to take a lot of Photos of the Amazing Coast.
Once in Positano, you will enjoy the little town with its Typical shops selling their Local Products (Cearmics, Limoncello and Women clothes).

Leaving Positano, continuing on driving the Breathtaking Coast Road, we will reach Amalfi, a nice little "Ancient Maritime Republic" where you can visit the Center and the Cathedral of St. Andrew with the Closter of the Paradise.
On the way to Ravello, I will suggest you a light lunch at a "Family Restaurant" (pizza is served at lunch) and then a nice walk trough the Beautiful town with a great view of the Coast from the "Gardens of Villa Rufolo".

Leaving Ravello at 1:45/2:00 PM, in one hour we will reach Pompei (the Roman town destroyed by the Vesuvius on 79AD) and you will take a two hours tour trough the ruins (private tour guide is suggested) and then I will drive you back to the ship at 05/05:30 PM.
